Morning Regular (morningregular.com) is run by Srinivas Madabushi, operating as Morning Regular. This page explains, in plain words, what information the site collects and what we do with it. The short version: almost nothing.
What we collect
When you visit. The site itself doesn’t run analytics or set cookies. Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site, may use security cookies or similar technology in some cases (for example, to tell visitors from automated bots). The site has no accounts, comments, sign-up forms or newsletter. We don’t load ads, social media embeds or tracking scripts, and our fonts are served from our own site.
Our host, Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), receives the technical details any website needs to send you a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for, and the site that sent you. Cloudflare processes this information for a limited period, under its own privacy policy, to deliver and protect the site. We don’t use it to identify or track you.
When you email us. If you write to info@morningregular.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you put in the message.
The calculator. The price-per-cup calculator runs in your browser. Your numbers aren’t sent to us. If you copy a link to your results, your numbers are part of that link, so anyone you share it with can see them.
How we use it
- Email you send us is used only to reply to you and to fix anything you point out, such as a changed price. We keep it as long as we need it for that. Ask us to delete it and we will. Copies may remain in our email provider’s backups for up to about a month.
- We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site (the technical details above).
- Purelymail, which runs our email inbox and stores messages you send us.
Nobody else. We’d only share information beyond this if the law required it.
Affiliate links
Right now no link on Morning Regular earns us money. If an affiliate program approves us later, some links to brands will be labeled as paid links. Clicking one may let the brand or its affiliate network set cookies on its own site, not ours, so it can credit us for a sale. Those companies’ privacy policies cover that. See our affiliate disclosure.
Links to other sites
We link to brands’ sites and to other sites, such as Trustpilot for customer reviews. Each has its own privacy policy, and we don’t control what they collect.
Your choices
- You can use the site without giving us any personal information.
- If you’ve emailed us, you can ask us to delete your messages.
- Because we don’t track you, there’s nothing to opt out of on our site. Your browser’s settings control cookies, including any security cookies Cloudflare uses and cookies other sites set after you leave ours.
- Because we don’t track you, we don’t need to respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.
Email lists
We don’t have a newsletter or email list yet. If we add one, we’ll update this page first and use double opt-in, so you’ll be asked to confirm before we send anything. Every email would have an unsubscribe link.
Children
Morning Regular is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has emailed us, tell us and we’ll delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t email us anything sensitive.
US-focused site
Morning Regular is written for readers in the United States and is run from the United States.
Changes to this policy
If what the site collects changes, for example if we add analytics or an email list, we’ll update this page before the change goes live and change the “Last updated” date above.
